1. The short version
We run no third-party tracking scripts on this site. There is no advertising tag, no social media pixel and no analytics library loading in your browser. Almost every cookie listed below is set by us, on our own domain, and there are only two kinds: the ones the shop cannot work without, and the ones we use to measure how the shop and our advertising perform — which are only set if you accept them. The one exception is the payment step, where our payment provider sets security cookies of its own — see section 5.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back on your next request. It is how a website remembers, for example, that the basket you filled a minute ago is yours. Most of ours are HTTP-only, which means they are readable by our server but not by scripts running in the page.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the shop function. They are set without asking, because without them you could not sign in, keep a basket or record a cookie choice.

4. Measurement cookies
These are set only if you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner. They hold random identifiers — not your name, email or address — that let us tell how many people reached the shop from a particular advert or page, and whether that visit ended in an order. Because there is no third-party script in the page, these identifiers are read by our own server, and the resulting measurement events are sent from our server to the advertising and analytics providers we use, currently Meta and Google.

If you choose "Necessary only", none of these are created — and any that already exist are deleted on your next request.
5. Cookies set when you pay
Card payments are handled by Stripe. On the payment step Stripe's own payment form runs inside our page, and Stripe sets a small number of cookies of its own so that it can hold the payment session together and tell a real shopper apart from an automated attempt at card fraud. They are strictly necessary for taking a payment safely: they are not advertising cookies, they are not set while you are browsing the shop, and we cannot read them. Stripe describes how it uses this data in its privacy policy.
6. Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. It clears your saved choice and brings the banner back so you can decide again. Withdrawing consent does not undo measurement that already happened, but it stops any further measurement.
7. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block cookies generally or per site — usually under Settings, in a Privacy or Security section. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop the basket and sign-in from working.
