1. Where we deliver

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom and the European Union. If your country appears in the address step at checkout, we can ship to you. We do not currently deliver to PO boxes.

2. How long it takes

Orders are dispatched from our supplier in Turkey. Estimated delivery is about 7 days from the day you place your order (dispatch is the next working day). Most orders arrive within that window, but it is an estimate rather than a guarantee: customs checks, peak periods and courier delays can add a few days.

We email you when your order is on its way. If your parcel is clearly overdue, message us through the contact form with your order number and we will chase the courier.

Two things are always worth telling us about: tracking that has not moved for five working days, and tracking that says your parcel has been delivered when nothing has arrived. Neither is something you have to take up with the courier yourself. Goods are not delivered until they are actually in your hands, so if a parcel is marked as delivered and you do not have it, message us with your order number and we will open an investigation with the carrier and put it right.

3. Who carries your parcel

Deliveries are handled by established international couriers — Royal Mail, DPD, FedEx and UPS — and the one used depends on the destination, the size of the parcel and the service available on the day. The dispatch email tells you which carrier has your order and gives you a tracking number.

4. Delivery cost

Delivery is charged separately from the price of the goods. The cost is calculated from the weight and dimensions of the items in your basket and the country you are shipping to, and is shown in full at checkout before you pay — there is never a delivery charge added afterwards.

Because our furniture is bulky, delivery on a large item can be a meaningful part of the total. You can see the exact figure by adding the item to your basket and entering your country at checkout, without having to complete the order.

5. Import duties and taxes

We pay the import duties and taxes on your order. Your parcel is shipped on delivered-duty-paid terms, which means the courier will not ask you for a customs charge, a handling fee or import VAT when it arrives. The amount you pay at checkout is the whole cost of the order.

6. Tracking your order

You will receive an order confirmation as soon as you place your order, and a dispatch email with a tracking link when it leaves the warehouse. If you have an account, your orders are also listed under your orders.

7. Getting the address right

Please check your delivery address carefully before paying — an international parcel is hard to redirect once it is moving. If you spot a mistake, tell us immediately through the contact form; if the order has not been dispatched we can usually correct it.

If a delivery fails because nobody was there, the courier normally leaves a card and tries again or holds the parcel for collection. If a parcel comes back to us because it could not be delivered or was not collected, we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may need to be paid for, or to refund the goods.

8. Large and flat-pack items

Larger furniture is shipped flat-packed in one or more cartons. Before ordering, check the dimensions listed on the product page against your doorways, stairs and lift — and note that the carton is bigger than the assembled piece. Couriers deliver to the address you give us, but a driver working alone may not be able to carry a heavy carton upstairs, so please plan for a ground-floor handover.

If your order arrives in several cartons they may not all turn up on the same day. Give it a working day or two before assuming something is missing, then get in touch.

9. Checking your delivery and damaged parcels

We ask that you open your parcel and check its contents while the driver is still with you. Transit damage is easiest to establish at the moment of delivery, and a couple of minutes at the door can save a great deal of time afterwards. Where the driver is unable to wait, we strongly recommend that you at least examine the outside of the carton before accepting it.

If anything has been damaged, ask the driver to record it — every carrier we use can add a note to the delivery record or raise a damage report at the door — and photograph the carton, the packaging inside it and the goods. Then message us through the contact form with your order number and the photographs, within 48 hours of delivery wherever possible. That timing is a request rather than a deadline: it does not limit any right you have, but it helps us claim against the carrier.

Damage recorded with the driver is handled as a priority — a free replacement at our cost or a full refund, whichever you prefer — and we pursue the claim against the carrier ourselves. If there was no opportunity to have it recorded, tell us anyway: your legal rights are unaffected and we will still put the matter right, though it may take longer while we investigate with the carrier. Please keep the packaging until the matter is settled. The full position is set out on our returns page.
