Domande frequenti

Delivery, customs, returns, payment and assembly — the questions we are asked most.

Delivery

How long will my order take?

Orders are dispatched from the workshop in Turkey and usually arrive in about 7 days. We email you a tracking link the moment your order is on its way. Customs checks and busy periods can add a day or two.

Delivery details →
Where do you deliver?

Across the United Kingdom and the European Union. If your country appears at the address step of checkout, we can ship to you.

Who actually delivers my parcel?

Established international couriers — Royal Mail, DPD, FedEx or UPS — chosen according to the destination and the size of the parcel. Your dispatch email tells you which one has your order and gives you the tracking number.

How much does delivery cost?

It depends on the weight and dimensions of what you order and where it is going, so it is calculated at checkout and shown in full before you pay. Add an item to your basket and enter your country to see the exact figure without completing the order.

What should I do when the courier arrives?

We ask that you open your parcel and check its contents while the driver is still with you. It takes a couple of minutes and it is the best protection you have against transit damage. If anything has been damaged, ask the driver to record it — every carrier we use can add a note to the delivery record or raise a damage report at the door — photograph the carton and the goods, and message us within 48 hours of delivery wherever possible. That timing is a request rather than a deadline; it does not limit any right you have.

Customs and duties

Will the courier ask me for customs charges?

No. Orders are shipped on delivered-duty-paid terms, which means we pay the import duties and taxes. Nothing extra is due when your parcel arrives — the amount you pay at checkout is the whole cost of the order.

Why does the order ship from Turkey?

Because that is where the furniture is made. We work directly with the manufacturer rather than buying through a wholesaler, so your order travels from the workshop instead of sitting in a warehouse collecting a markup.

Returns and cancellations

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you want to cancel, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to send the goods back. We refund within 14 days of receiving them or of seeing proof that you posted them.

Returns and refunds →
Who pays for the return postage?

If you have simply changed your mind, you do — and because parcels travel internationally, that can be a meaningful amount on a large item, so ask us for an estimate first. If the item is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the cost.

My order arrived damaged — what now?

Photograph the carton, the packaging and the item, and send them to us through the contact form with your order number. Where the damage was recorded with the driver at delivery, we treat it as established and handle the case as a priority: a free replacement at our cost or a full refund, whichever you prefer, and we pursue the claim against the carrier ourselves. If there was no opportunity to have it recorded, your legal rights are unaffected and we will still put the matter right — it may simply take longer while we investigate with the carrier. Please keep the packaging until the matter is settled.

Damaged and faulty items →
Do I lose my rights if I did not check the parcel at the door?

No. Checking at the door and having damage recorded with the driver is a request, because it is what gets you the fastest answer and lets us claim against the carrier. It is not a condition of anything. Your right to cancel within 14 days and your rights over faulty goods — including the 30-day right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the two-year legal guarantee in the European Union — apply in full either way.

Returns and refunds →
Can I cancel before my order is dispatched?

Yes, and you get everything back including the delivery charge. Tell us as soon as you can — once a parcel is with the courier we cannot always stop it, and it has to be handled as a return instead.

Payment and security

Is it safe to pay here?

Card payments are handled by Stripe, with 3-D Secure authentication where your bank requires it. Your card details go straight to Stripe — they are never stored on our systems, and we never see your full card number.

What can I pay with?

Credit and debit cards, in pounds sterling or euro depending on where you are shopping from. Prices include all the taxes we are required to charge; delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

Products and assembly

Where do I find the dimensions and materials?

On every product page, along with what is in the box. Measure your doorway, stairs and lift as well as the wall — the flat-pack carton is larger than the assembled piece.

Do I have to assemble it myself?

Larger furniture ships flat-packed and needs straightforward assembly using the fittings and instructions supplied in the box. Smaller accessories arrive ready to use.

Can I order a custom size or colour?

No — everything we sell is a standard product, in the sizes and finishes shown on the product page. Nothing is made to measure, which is also why your right to cancel is never restricted on the grounds of personalisation.

Privacy

Do you track me around the web?

No. We run no third-party advertising or analytics scripts on this site. The only cookies are our own: the ones the basket and sign-in cannot work without, and measurement cookies that are set only if you accept them.
